I felt glad that this website was surfed by people from all over the world but mostly Commonwealth nations where the FRCR examination is recognized.
Dear TK thanks for your hard work! This is excellent. I am keen to grab all of it. Just wonder if you could issue a receipt for it.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I am taking all 4 first time round this sept. Wonder if you could share with me the exam focus in your opinion?
Kind regards,
Dan
Dear Dan C,
DeleteFor every purchase from website- Gumroad will emailed you a soft-copy of the receipt.Dont worry, there will be no tricks or internet fraud.
There will be a lot to share by listed out the exam topics in each subjects.
My advice is prepared the exam by focus on the syllabus which my revision notes is all about- exam-orientated-focus on all hot/popular topic that commonly appeared in frcr part 1 exam.
I would say most of the exam topics all very practical and relevant to clinical practice...i.e
physics- electron energy selection, photon interaction with matter and IRR regulation...meaning of referral, practitioner and radiation protection...all in the notes
This would applied to other subjects as well...
Hopefully that answer your questions and all the best for your coming summer part 1 exam
Thanks bro. Just bought the lot.
DeleteSo just to clarify,in terms of the questions,
Stats - the Med stat at a glance website qns are similar to the exams?
Bio: ASTRO qns are similar?
Pharm: Just common enzymes, side effects, interactions?
Physics: Raphex qns are similar?
Thanks boss!
Out of curiosity, are u a fellow Msian?
Daniel C
thanks...hopefully it will help you in preparing your exam.
ReplyDeletestats/bio-the qns from the 2 sources are quite similar to FRCR exam
(main point/core knowledge of this 2 subjects will be tested again but just the questions phrased in different methods to test your understanding of the topics)
for physics- a lot calculation questions and relevant to clinical
(a lots of self-memory questions after the exam were in the revision notes)
Pharm-commonly asked MOA/MOR/common side effect/common chemo drugs interaction with warfarin/phenytoin/drug development
specifically- Capecitabine,irinotecan,bleomycin, herceptin, taxane,
antracycline
What i mentioned, i think all are in the revision notes
All the best!!
