FRCR part 1 past year BOF/ MCQs
This book contains questions similar and self-recalled from the previous FRCR examination. There are total 100 best of five questions, 50 physics questions and 25 questions each in pharmacology and cancer & radiobiology. The answers given are relevant to the question and need further explanation. More details explanations or relevant topics can be found in my revision notes. The questions were written in a way that- answers follow with a larger gap after the question to facilitate learning process.

Biostatistics
Approach to which statistical test to use:
This algorithm is in my revision notes
1. Is type of variable- i.e continuous,discrete
2. Is the continuous or discrete variable normally distributed or not
3. How many samples in the para or non parametric variable? One, two or
more?
4. If two samples, are they independent or paired/matched?
4. If two samples, are they independent or paired/matched?
Make sure the assumptions of
the test are not violated
Parametric
- the distribution of scores in a population is normal & variance equal and when the sample size is large.
Nonparametric
- the distribution of scores in a population is not
normal or if the sample size is small- the distribution of scores in a population is normal & variance equal and when the sample size is large.
Nonparametric
The following is the snap capture of my notes
